We got Brads!

Current US national team Goalkeeper Brad Guzan was today granted a Work Permit and joins Villa as no.2 to recent aquisition Brad Freidal from Blackburn. Not only are we delighted to have two quality players between the sticks but we are also happy to see more American talent joining the club to complement our home grown squad. Don't expect to see the junior of the two in action right away, as Guzan is heading to the Olympics with the US national team where we wish him the best of luck.

I am still searching for news on Gareth Barry. One day it looks like he is staying because Liverpool has already signed too many (others away). The next day it looks like he really wants to leave. Any forecasts?

I think it's great to sign 2 Americans named Brad. Now we need a few American outfield players as well, preferably with names like Brett, Chad, or Seth. And if they have mustaches and chew tobacco, even better. And another thing, when are they gonna start playing "We Will Rock You" over the PA system at Villa Park during the games?
